Imagine this: you wake up on a Sunday morning just after sunrise. The birds are chirping just outside of your window. You walk down to the kitchen and brew yourself a piping hot cup of coffee, exit to your backyard and step onto your newly paved concrete patio. There, you have a seat on one of your comfy chairs and soak up the crisp morning air and enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. That's where you spend your morning--surrounded by nature, within the bounds of your own property, still in your pajama pants.
Sound good? Let's make that happen.
When it comes to installing an outdoor patio, concrete is a common and popular choice. Why? Because it's a cost-effective way to make dreams like the one you just read a reality. The installation of a concrete patio is an upgrade that you and your family will be able to enjoy for decades to come.
Concrete patio repairs have been a hot topic with a booming housing market. Smart sellers will want to make sure that their property is in the best shape possible before listing their home on the market so that they can get top dollar for their home.
The difference between a home with a cracked, dilapidated concrete patio and a beautiful, well-maintained patio area could be thousands, or even tens of thousands. If your patio needs some work, contact TruForm Concrete Specialists Riverside as soon as possible so that we can get on those repairs as quickly as possible. You'll want to strike while the market's hot, so don't delay!
The cost to install an average concrete padio will depend on the material and finish grade that you choose, the surface area, and preparation and/or any special requirements. For example, stamped concrete or decorative concrete will be more expensive than a standard concrete slab. There are also some properties that are easier and cheaper to build on, which could be the case for a number of reasons.
We take all sorts of factors into consideration before providing pricing to our customers. We've been able to find some amazing ways to save them money by pricing on a case-by-case basis.
We're noticing that it's becoming more common for our customers to choose some type of decorative concrete for their patio. If you opted for a stamped or exposed concrete patio, you'll want to wait until the surface has been pressure washed and sealed before walking on it. So after the new concrete has been poured, we recommend to wait another two days just to be on the safe side before introducing foot traffic.
As a general rule of thumb, you can walk on the surface of a newly installed patio after a couple days. For adding additional weight like furniture, it is recommended to wait at least 10 days before putting all your furniture out there. If it was our house, we would wait a solid 2 weeks just to be totally safe.
Want to know something funny? While you're waiting for a concrete patio to dry, you actually have to keep it very wet. While the curing process is underway, it is imperative that the slab is not allowed to dry out all the way. That being said, it takes about 5-7 days for the concrete to completely cure.
You know how much we love mainteancce questions, don't you?
There are five key things to do if you want your concrete patio to hold up for years to come.
1. Clean it up - It can be counterintuitive to sweep outdoors, we know. But once a week, you should sweep any dirt and debris from the surface of your concrete patio. You may also use a garden hose--but not a power washer--to hose off any dirt or debris.
2. Avoid using certain chemicals - It's best to avoid using certain chemicals on your concrete patio. The sealer that is applied to finished concrete will be important for its ability to endure outdoors, and certain chemicals can eat through the sealer and damage the concrete.
3. Remove stains sooner than later - Things happen. We get it. Just do your best to clean up stains and spills from your concrete as soon as they happen. This will prevent discoloration and staining from occuring, which will maintain the aesthetics of your concrete.
4. Watch the weight - It's a common misconception that because concrete is such a heavy and durable material, it can hold up to just about anything. But just like concrete driveways aren't equipped to handle the weight of heavy machinery, you'll also have to keep your eye on the amount of weight you put on your patio.
5. Fix cracks as soon as you can - Even with the best maintenance, it's still possible for your concrete patio to develop fractures and cracks over time. If you notice this, please contact the Riverside Concrete Experts right away. If they increase in size, they will weaken the concrete, increasing the likelihood of total failure. We can nip it in the bud, before bigger problems start.
One of the biggest concerns that we hear from potential customers is about the lack of certainty that they have about whether or not a concrete contractor is providing them fair pricing for their services. With TruForm Concrete Specialists Riverside, you'll never have to worry about that. You can trust us, and we're prepared to earn it.
We get it--it's not always comfortable to have strangers on your property, working close to your place of residence. You are completely justified in feeling concerned about your privacy, and contractors who respect your home. We promise to treat your property the way we would want ours to be treated, and won't settle for anything less from our team.
In our industry, it's not common for contractors to earn the reputation of being punctual or reliable. Way too many customers report being left high and dry by concrete teams they've hired in the past (We've heard some horror stories about this.) Well, with TruForm Concrete Specialists Riverside, you won't have to worry about the games. Prepare to be wowed.
We're always going to be honest with you, so we'll take a moment for some real honesty here.
Southern California has some incredible beaches, the best tacos you'll ever find North of the border, and the shopping destinations are hard to beat, and anyone who has traveled or moved here from out-of-state will go on for hours about the amazing weather....but all of that comes with a hefty price tag.
And for paying that hefty price tag, you deserve to enjoy all that this place has to offer, especially this weather! You could have your outdoor space transformed into a place that allows you to bask in the California sun on your own property for over 300 days a year. Imagine being able to host all of life's biggest moments--engagement parties, anniversaries, and family reunions right in the comfort of your own home.
We can make that happen. And we'd be happy to.
As always, we're here to pave the way for you.
We'll design a concrete patio around your property, taking account all of your needs and your desires.
It's so close. The outdoor space of your dreams is only one phone call away.
